Act 46 within the WCSU

The towns of Bridgewater, Killington, Plymouth, Pomfret, and Woodstock have all voted to join the newly created Windsor Central Modified Unified Union District.

Voters in the town of Reading initially rejected the articles that would have allowed them to join the Modified Unified Union District, but after a successful petition the town will hold a re-vote on Wednesday, May 31st. (Note: May 31st yielded a "yes" vote. The Reading School Board has called for a third vote, to be held on July 25th.)

Voters in the town of Barnard rejected the articles to join the Modified Unified Union District and the school board is currently evaluating their options for “alternative structures” moving forward.

The new Modified Unified Union District School Board will be convened after the town of Reading certifies their final vote.
